The Catholic Faith Appeal: 2023 Campaign Year Starts
Commitment Weekend February 11/12, 2023 – Sixth Sunday in Ordinary Time, Year A Sir 15:15-20 1 Cor 2:6-10 Mt 5:17-37
In today’s Gospel, Jesus preaches that we must purify our hearts and inward intentions to live as joyful Catholics and to be outwardly holy. When our hearts are pure, our actions and words become righteous and just. This leads to us living out a truly Christian life which attracts others to find out more about the beauty of the Faith. The Catholic Faith Appeal is one concrete and outward way to participate in our Diocesan efforts to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ and to provide for the needs of the less fortunate in our communities across Southwest Florida. Through support of the CFA, you help respond to Christ’s call to care for those in need. Our Faith teaches us that “…faith without works is dead.” James 2:26.
How to use a QR Code to Donate:
1. Open your smartphone camera and hover over the QR Code.
2. Click the pop up on your smartphone to open the giving webpage.
3. Scroll down the page until you see the “Donation” section
To make a one-time gift: Select one of the amounts on the screen or select “Other” to fill in an amount not shown.
To make a pledge over time:
- Select one of the pledge amounts on the screen or select “Other” to fill in an amount not shown.
- Select “monthly” or “quarterly” from the “Contribute to your pledge” section.
- Select your pledge duration – keep in mind your gift should not exceed January 15, 2024.
4. Fill all the information in the “Billing Address” section.
5. Fill all the information in the “Payment Details” section.
6. Make sure your Parish receives credit, select your Parish from the “Designation” drop box.
7. Click on DONATE!
