Divine Mercy Sunday

Welcome to Our Newest Members!

Thanks to all who prepared and participated in the Holy Week and Easter celebrations last week. Every service had record numbers of participants, and all the hard work of preparing for these most solemn liturgies was evident in the beauty and dignity of each celebration.

With great joy and gratitude to God, our parish family also welcomed a large group of new members into the Catholic Church at the Easter Vigil. Nine adult Catechumens and eight children were baptized, six adult Candidates – already baptized Christians – were received into full communion in the Catholic Church. The adults also received the Sacraments Confirmation and the Holy Eucharist, sharing fully in the grace of these sacraments given by Christ to his Church.
If you or someone you know is interested in finding out more about the Catholic Church, we invite you to join us on Wednesday, April 22 at 6:30 pm for an information session. This will be an opportunity to bring your questions, get to know some fellow parishioners, and find out about the process of instruction in the Catholic faith. The Other of Christian Initiation for Adults (OCIA).

Hope Campaign Update

It’s been a long time since we’ve had an update on our Reason for our Hope Parish campaign. But now there’s some great news to share. After much work behind the scenes, construction is finally beginning for our Adoration Chapel.
Over the coming weeks there may be some extra noise and dust around the campus as we convert the priest sacristy into a dedicated chapel for Eucharistic Adoration. The Adoration Chapel will be open for private prayer throughout the day, and registered adorers will have 24/7 access to the Chapel.

If you have any questions about OCIA or adoration at San Pedro, please write us at office@sanpedrocc.org.
