How can I repay the LORD for all the great good done for me? I will raise the cup of salvation and call on the name of the LORD.”

-Psalm 116:12-13

Dear Friends,

This week we present the 2022-2023 financial report for San Pedro Catholic Church. Throughout this greatly challenging year, you have remained generous and consistent in supporting the life of our parish community.

Every offering, regardless of the amount, expresses your confidence in the work carried out by our dedicated staff and volunteers, and your desire to take part in proclaiming the Gospel, which is the very reason San Pedro Catholic Church exists.

You have helped us get off to a solid start with the Parish Restoration Fund (PRF) that was launched in June. Contributions to the PRF are not assessed, which means they will not add to our CFA goal for next year. This fund is designated to pay off our hurricane deductible, the roof repair/replacement on all five of our parish buildings, the renovation of the parish rectory and offices and the replacement of a lift station.

Along with your regular support of the parish through the weekly offertory, you have helped us stay on target to meet our annual Catholic Faith Appeal (CFA) goal that supports the services of the Diocese of Venice. These diocesan services have been essential to San Pedro’s recovery from Ian, and continue to sustain other parishes and communities even more profoundly affected by the storm.

Our parish staff works diligently to ensure that the administration of San Pedro is carried out in a responsible and trustworthy manner, in accord with the high level of trust you express by your support.

Thank you for your continuing support, and for your help in inviting others to join us in building a sustainable and thriving parish community, to proclaim Jesus Christ here in our home town of North Port.

In Christ,
Fr. Thomas Carzon, OMV
